History of the Foundation

2002.1  Kang Yun Foundation (Hongkong) registered as a non-profit in Hongkong.  

2002.9 Kangyun Baige Primary School, the first primary school funded by the Foundation was completed in Pingbian County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province.

2005.9  KYF donated US$ 200,000 to Zhejiang University as Pangyou-Hsu Grant in Aid.

2005.9  KYF donated RMB 270,000 to award over 200 teachers for excellence in Pingbian County. The program TEA was established. The annual grant is RMB270,000.

2008.5  KYF funded construction of Pingbian Senior High School, the first senior high school in Pingbian.

2011.9  KYF funded the training program of Skipping Learning in Pingbian, a new accelerated learning methodolgy developed by the Education Information Research Institute of Beijing Normal University. It was the first systematic training program funded by KYF.

2013.9  The Advisory Committee of KYF was established.
